1.Oldest University :-
  • University of Taxila or Takshashila - Ancient India (now Pakistan):-
Taxila was the World's First and Oldest University.

Invention of Zero :-Every knows that Aryabhata was discovered Zero, but it is not true. He was first who used Zero. Brahmagupta was the first to give rules to compute with Zero.

Ludo:

This game was played by the Mughal emperors. Earlier known as Pachisi, this game originated in India by the sixth century. A variant of this game, called Ludo, made its way to England during the British Raj.

Snakes and ladders:

Snakes and ladders originated in India as a game based on morality.

Chaturanga/ Chess:

The game of chess originated in India 1500 years ago , during the time of the Gupta dynasty, by an Indian Brahmin. The Indian king Balhait ordered a Brahmin to design a chess game called Chaturanga to help strengthen his people’s intelligence. In Sanskrit, it means an army of four divisions

Ink:

Indians have been writing with ink since the fourth century BC. During that time in South India, a sharp needle was used to write with ink.

Shampoo:

Did you know that shampoo evolved from oil? It comes from the word champo. The Nawabs of Bengal used it for head massages at first. Over the years, it became shampoo.

Flush toilets:

The Indus Valley civilization was the first to use toilets with flushes. The city had an advanced sewage system too.

Dock:

One of the earliest docks of the world was the one in Lothal, Gujarat. Oceanographers think that the Harappans must have possessed knowledge relating to tides. So, they could build such a dock on the ever-shifting course of the River Sabarmati. The walls are of kiln- burnt bricks and so scientists hypothesise that Lothal engineers studied the effects of tidal movements on brick-built structures.

Astronomy :-The correct time taken by the earth to revolve around the sun was calculated by the famous astronomer Bhaskaracharya. His calculation showed that the earth takes around 365.258756484 days to go around the sun once.

Earth is Round:- This is pic of Varaha Avatar. So more that 10 thousand year ago we knew that the earth was round.Only Europe accepted after saw the picture from Apollo.




First Aroplane :-Eight years before the wright bro's aerial show, in INDIA, in the year 1895, at Chowpaty beach, Bombay, a aircraft flew in the skies upto 1500 ft, when the large Indian Audience watched this feat. This performance took place in presence of Highness Maharaja of Baroda, Sri Sayaji Rao Gaikwad and honorable judge Mahadev Govind Ranade. This event was covered and then published by a popular newspaper “Kesari” which was published in Pune.





Vasco da gama :-

The story in Vasco da gama's own journal,it is in Lisbon today. There was two guys who went searching for India. one was Columbus and other was Vasco da gama. Columbus went to opponent direction Europe event up and he found america only he thought America was India.
That is why the native of Americans are called red Indians. That why the India comes.
That time vasco da gama had the biggest biggest ship available in the Europe. Then he met a Gujrati named Kanha, he was a trader who had ship 12 times the ship of vasco da gama.



Earth Orbits Sun:-

Bhaskaracharya, the great astronomer and mathematician of ancient India, was the first person to calculate the time taken by the earth to orbit the sun.

Cotton was only used in Ancient INDIA:-

The ancient Greeks used to wear animal skins and were not even aware of cotton. But Indians were sort of cool and started cultivating cotton during the 5th – 4th millennium BCE in the Indus Valley Civilization. The word spread to the Mediterranean and beyond and soon everyone was ordering one from Flipkart. Well, pretty much.



Atomic Theory:-

Sage Kanad, 600 BC, is recognized as the founder of atomic theory, and classified all the objects of creation into nine elements (earth, water, light or fire, wind, ether, time, space, mind and soul). He stated that every object in creation is made of atoms that in turn connect with each other to form molecules nearly 2,500 years before John Dalton. Further, Kanad described the dimension and motion of atoms, and the chemical reaction with one another.
The birth of Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus happened in India.

Gyanganj- The Land of Immortals:

In numerous mythologies, mountains are common homes to celestial and godlike creatures. Accordingly, its no shock that the world’s mightiest mountain extend, the Himalayas, is liable to obscure whisperings of secretive creatures hidden away in the remote and inaccessible valleys of the Himalayan mountains. It is said to be an antiquated Indian and Tibetan story of a city-kingdom of complex and everlasting creatures. It is said that Gyanganj is shrewdly covered or actually existing in a totally distinctive plane of reality.




Karna’s Kavach (Shield of Sun):

Karna the child of Surya ( Sun god) was born with a shield that protected him from weapons and atrocities of the war. It might be similar to the organic shield like exoskeleton found in tortoise, still extremely solid. Not at all like fake exoskeleton used by people, Karna’s Kavach was mixed with his body. He later gave it to Indra, the father of Arjuna, who was threatened by Karna’s skill, perseverance and strength.
